Amour obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of South Africa in 2013, majoring in Botany and Zoology. In April 2013 she joined the ADU as a DST-NRF intern for PHOWN. In 2014 she took over the role as CAR project coordinator; her other duties include supporting Sue Kuyper as an administrative assistant, editorial assistant for Biodiversity Observations and occasionally assisting with fieldwork for the Earthwatch African Penguin Project on Robben Island. Amour is currently working on a BSc. Honours degree in Environmental Management from the University of South Africa.
